Privacy Policy

Effective · July 30, 2026

517 Luxury LLC ("517 Luxury", "we", "us") operates a private chauffeur service in Florida and the website at www.517luxury.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, who it is shared with, and how long we keep it.

We wrote this from the actual code that runs the site, not from a template. If a form on this site asks for something, it is described below.

1. Who is responsible for your information

517 Luxury LLC, a Florida limited liability company, is responsible for the personal information described here. You can reach us at operations@517luxury.com or +1 (754) 329-7290.

2. Information you give us when you book a ride

Our booking form collects only what is needed to pick you up and quote the trip:

  • Your full name, email address and phone number
  • Pickup location and destination
  • Date and pickup time
  • Number of passengers
  • Flight number, if you choose to give one
  • Any notes you add — extra stops, luggage, a child seat, a preferred route

3. Information you give us when you apply to drive

If you apply through our "Join Us" page, we collect your name, email, phone, the city you operate from, your vehicle, the counties you are permitted in, your years of professional experience, and any notes you add.

You also upload documents that we are required to verify before anyone carries our passengers. These include your Florida driver license, your county for-hire chauffeur registration, vehicle operating permits and inspection records, certificates of insurance, your motor vehicle record, and a criminal background screening.

We treat these as sensitive information. They are used for one purpose only: deciding whether to work with you. We do not sell them, we do not use them for marketing, and we do not share them with other applicants or drivers.

4. Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider records standard server logs when you visit — IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. These are used for security and to keep the site running.

This site does not run advertising trackers, and it does not build a profile of you across other websites.

5. Cookies

We set one cookie: NEXT_LOCALE, which remembers whether you chose English or Spanish so the site does not switch back on you. It contains nothing but a language code and lasts one year. You can delete it at any time; the site will simply fall back to your browser's language.

6. How your information is used

  • To respond to your booking request and quote a fixed price
  • To carry out the trip — flight tracking, pickup coordination, contacting you if plans change
  • To evaluate driver applications and verify credentials and insurance
  • To keep records required for a licensed for-hire operation in Florida
  • To answer you when you contact us

We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent or trade it. We do not send marketing email unless you ask us to.

7. Who your information is shared with

We use a small number of service providers, and only for the purposes above:

  • Vercel — hosts the website, stores uploaded application documents in a private, access-controlled store, and counts page views. That counting uses no cookies and does not identify you: it tells us how many people reached a page, not who they were
  • Formspree — delivers form submissions to our inbox
  • Brevo — sends your service agreement and booking correspondence to your email address
  • Telegram — delivers an alert to the owner’s phone when a booking arrives, so a request is not missed. The alert repeats the booking details you submitted; nothing extra is created for it
  • Our insurance carrier or a regulator — only where a claim, an audit, or Florida or county law requires it

8. How uploaded documents are protected

Application documents are uploaded directly from your browser to private storage. They are not public, and they are not attached to email.

When we need to review a file, the system generates a signed link that expires after 14 days. Without a valid signature, the file cannot be opened — a copied URL stops working once it expires.

No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise. If a breach affects your information, we will tell you.

9. How long we keep it

  • Booking records: 24 months after the trip, for accounting and in case of a dispute
  • Applications that lead to working together: for the duration of the relationship and 5 years afterward, as insurance and licensing records require
  • Applications we decline: deleted within 12 months
  • Server logs: retained by our host on their standard schedule

You can ask us to delete your information sooner. See the next section.

10. Your choices

Whether or not the law requires it of a company our size, you can ask us to:

  • Tell you what information we hold about you
  • Correct anything that is wrong
  • Delete your information, unless we are required to keep it for insurance or licensing
  • Send you a copy of what you gave us

11. Children

This website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 through it. Children travel with us as passengers, of course — but they are booked by an adult, and we collect nothing about them beyond what that adult tells us in order to carry them safely.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the effective date above. If the change is significant, we will say so plainly rather than bury it.

13. Contact us

Questions about this policy, or a request about your information: operations@517luxury.com, or +1 (754) 329-7290. We answer.
