Terms of Service
Effective · July 30, 2026
These terms govern rides booked with 517 Luxury LLC ("517 Luxury", "we", "us") and the use of www.517luxury.com. By requesting a ride, you accept them.
They are written to be read. Where a rule costs you money — a cancellation, a wait, a cleaning charge — the number is stated plainly instead of buried.
1. Who we are
517 Luxury LLC is a Florida limited liability company operating a licensed for-hire passenger service with commercial insurance. We operate one vehicle and one route at a time. That is a deliberate limit, not a temporary one.
2. Booking and confirmation
A request submitted through the website or WhatsApp is a request, not a confirmed ride. A ride exists once we send you a written confirmation with the pickup time and the price.
We reply to every request personally. Because there is a single vehicle, a specific date and time is only held once we confirm it — an unconfirmed request holds nothing.
You may pay when you submit the request, before we confirm. Paying does not turn a request into a confirmed ride — it only means the money is already with us when we do confirm. If we cannot cover the time you asked for, we refund 100% of what you paid, without you having to ask and without any form to fill in.
A written service agreement covering your ride is sent to the email address on the booking. It repeats these terms and states the ones specific to your booking — the price, the cancellation window and what we are and are not responsible for. A complimentary first transfer is covered by its own agreement, which additionally records that the transfer is personal to you and may be used once.
3. Price
The price we confirm is the total price. It includes taxes, tolls and the waiting time described in section 5. There is no surge pricing and no meter.
Gratuity is voluntary and is not included in the quoted price. Nothing is added to your bill automatically; if you choose to include one, you can add it when you book.
The price only changes if the trip itself changes: added stops, a different destination, a longer route than the one quoted, or waiting beyond the included time. Any change is agreed with you before it is charged.
4. The on-time guarantee
If we arrive late to a confirmed pickup, that ride is free. No forms and no partial credit.
Late means: for a scheduled pickup, the vehicle is not at the agreed location at the confirmed time. For an airport pickup, we are not in position by the time you reach the pickup point after your flight has landed.
The guarantee does not apply where the delay comes from you or from something no operator could drive through:
- An address, terminal or flight number given to us incorrectly
- A pickup time changed by you inside one hour of the original time
- Road closure, evacuation order, severe weather, or an act of government
Traffic is not on that list. Planning around traffic is our job, and a bad estimate on our part is our problem, not yours.
The guarantee covers the ride it applies to. It is not cash and it does not carry to a future booking.
5. Waiting time and hourly service
Hourly and as-directed bookings are sold in blocks of time, with a 2 hour minimum. Within the block, stops, waiting and changes of plan are included and nothing is metered separately.
An hourly booking is as-directed across South Florida — Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach — and ends in the same area it began. There is no mileage cap inside that area. A one-way journey beyond it is a transfer, not an hourly booking, and is quoted separately because that price has to cover the return drive with no passenger in the car.
You can extend on the day at the same hourly rate, with no surcharge, subject to the vehicle being free — we run one route at a time, and where a later booking makes an extension impossible we tell you when we confirm. The first 15 minutes past your block are not charged; beyond that, time is billed in 30 minute blocks. Any extension is confirmed in writing, with the amount, before it is charged.
- Airport pickups: 60 minutes of waiting are included, measured from when your flight actually lands, not from the scheduled time. We track the flight, so a delay costs you nothing.
- Other pickups: 15 minutes are included from the confirmed time.
- Beyond that, waiting is billed at the hourly rate of $115 per hour, in the same blocks as an hourly extension below. We contact you before that starts.
6. Changes and cancellations
- Cancel more than 3 hours before pickup: no charge.
- Cancel within 3 hours: 50% of the quoted price.
- No-show — nobody at the pickup point once included waiting time has run out, and no contact from you: 100% of the quoted price.
We hold one vehicle for one booking, so a late cancellation is a night we cannot resell. That is the whole reason for the charge.
If we cancel on you for any reason other than those in section 4, you pay nothing and we will help you find another way to get there.
7. The vehicle, passengers and luggage
- 2 passengers. On a long run we would rather give you the room than fit one more in.
- Room for approximately 2 large cases plus smaller items. Tell us in advance if you are carrying more, so we can tell you honestly whether it fits.
- Child seats: Florida law requires them for young children. Tell us when you book and we will arrange one.
We may substitute a comparable vehicle if ours is unavailable for maintenance or repair. If we cannot provide a vehicle of comparable standard, we cancel and you pay nothing.
8. Conduct in the vehicle
No smoking or vaping. No illegal substances. No behavior that puts the driver or other road users at risk.
The driver may end a trip if a passenger is threatening or unsafe. In that case the fare remains due.
If the vehicle needs professional cleaning after your trip — a spill, sickness, or damage beyond ordinary use — a cleaning fee of up to $250 applies. We will send you photographs and the invoice. We will not charge you for normal wear.
9. Items left behind
Tell us as soon as you notice. We hold found items for 30 days and will return yours by arrangement; postage or a special trip is charged at cost.
We take care, but we are not responsible for items left in the vehicle. If you are carrying something genuinely valuable, tell us when you book — that is a different service and we will treat it as one.
10. Payment
Payment is due on or before the day of service unless you hold a corporate account with agreed terms. We will tell you which payment methods apply when we confirm.
Corporate accounts are invoiced on the schedule agreed in writing when the account opens.
11. Insurance and limits
We carry commercial passenger insurance as required for a licensed for-hire operation in Florida. Proof of coverage is available on request.
Except where the law does not allow it to be limited, our liability for any single trip is capped at the price of that trip, and we are not liable for indirect losses — a missed flight, a missed meeting, a missed connection.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that Florida law does not permit us to limit. Your rights as a consumer are not affected.
12. Events outside anyone’s control
We are not liable for failing to perform where the cause is genuinely beyond our control: severe weather, flood, hurricane, road closure, evacuation, civil disruption, or an act of government. Where that happens we will refund what you paid for the affected trip.
13. Applying to drive with us
Submitting an application through this website is not an offer of work, and we are not obliged to accept it or to explain a decision.
Approved drivers operate as independent contractors with their own vehicle, permits and insurance. An approval is not employment and creates no partnership. The specific terms are set out in a separate written agreement before any work begins.
How we handle the documents you upload is described in our Privacy Policy.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your ride is the one published when we confirmed it. Material changes will be stated plainly on this page along with the effective date.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute belongs to the courts of Broward County, Florida.
Before that, contact us. Almost everything is faster to resolve with a phone call.
